There are cases when the edge of a pad needs to be cut in order to ensure pad isolation, or when pads overlap on a PCB. It is also sometimes referred to as Cut Land.
A cut pad is also sometimes referred to as a cut land.
With Quadcept, it is not necessary to return to Edit Footprint. Cut Pad can be executed easily on the PCB.

When creating a complicated Pad Shape, refer to Customize Pad.
The following will explain how to use Cut Pad. |

Select the pad that you want to cut. |

Right click
Select => [Customize Pad]
=> [Cut Pad]. |

Confirm the Current Layer, and draw a line on the portion that you want to cut. |

The pad on the current layer will be cut.
* By clicking "Yes" for the message, "Do you want to change paste and solder to imitation?",
the Paste and Solder on the current layer will become "Imitation",
and you can specify using One Side Oversize from the shape that was cut.
