About Design Preparation

Configure information for designing in order to proceed with designing PCBs.

Before starting designing, configure board information for designing according to the following.

Item Content

Layer Settings

Configures board layer settings.
With Layer Settings, set the number of physical board layers, adding of Customize layers, and layer color, etc.

Mode Settings for GRID, GUIDE, etc.

Configures design Unit, GRID, and GUIDE settings to make designing easier.

Clearance Settings

Configures settings for the Clearance (Interval) between each object.

Route Settings

Sets the Route Width when drawing routes, and the Via shape when executing Change Layer.

Board Outline Drawing

Executes drawing for the Board Outline.

Import Various Keep Out Areas

Configures various Keep Out Area settings.
