The update of Quadcept can be performed from the update dialog displayed at start-up after the release of the latest version. You can also update it manually from the Update command in the Settings menu.

Updating Quadcept

The update of Quadcept can be performed from the update dialog displayed at start-up after the release of the latest version. The following explains how to update the application to the latest version.

(1) If a new version has been released, a dialog entitled Upgrade Version will appear at start-up. Click "Yes" to update to the latest version. * You might click "No" if you do not wish to update at this time. * Click "Do not show check for updates again[Version]" if you do not wish to see the dialogue again. Note: when a newer version is released, you will be reminded again of the update. Click here to learn how to update manually.

(2) The application will be updated automatically. Click "Yes" to finish the update.

 

Updating Quadcept Manually

You can also update the application manually from "Update" menu. If you do not update it right after start-up or you do not show the update confirmation dialog, perform the update from this command.

(1) Start Quadcept. (2) Click [Settings] -> [Update].

(3) If there is a new version, a dialog entitled Upgrade Version will appear. Click "Yes" to update.

* If there is a project or library which is being edited, a window shown at the right will appear and then an update will be cancelled. Please do the update after closing the file.
