Creating a component (961106-6404-AR)

The following will explain how to createa component (961106-6404-AR) as a sample.

■ Preparation 1 Prepare a Symbol Use "DIODE For more details on the creation method, refer to Creating Symbols.

■ Preparation 2 Prepare a "Footprint Use "SMini2-F5-B For more details on how to create footprints, refer to Creating Footprints.

(1) Click [File] => [Create New] => [Component] => The component creation screen will open.

(2) Set the reference text in Reference Because it is a Zener Diode, "ZD" is set.

(3) Copy the Attribute from Excel using Ctrl+C.

(4) Right-click on the Attribute List => Click [Paste]

The Attribute will be pasted. Next, register a symbol. (5) From the Symbol List, click the "Add" button

(6) Set "Symbol Group" as the Component Category (7) Select the symbol "DIODE-ZENER (8) Click "OK

The Symbol Name registered to the Symbol List will be shown. You can confirm the shape in the Preview. Next, register the footprint. (9) From the Symbol List, click the "Add" button.

(10) Set "Footprint" as the Component Category (11) Select the footprint DZ2J056M0L (12) Click "OK

(13) Click [File] => [Save] ==> "Save (Component)" will be displayed.

(14) Select "Directory", input the File Name, and then click "OK"
